Rippling Roots: Cultivating Across Water and Land

Rippling Roots is a project that delves into the relationship between my cultural identity and ecology through bamboo and Xuan paper installations. My ancestors lived near the Yangtze River, cultivating land, nurturing grass, and weaving mats for a living. Utilizing natural materials for daily needs was a part of our regional wisdom and everyday life in my hometown, symbolizing a sustainable bond with nature.
